About Me

Thank you for visiting my blogsite! My name is Meagan–I’m a busy mother to two of the world’s most awesome little boys (I’m their mom, I can’t help but think they are awesome!), wife to my high-school sweetheart, and I work part-time as a Cost Analyst for Space Systems. I studied Economics in college and quickly found a career in my field of study (I still work for the same organization!), so I never imagined myself becoming a photographer. Enter the birth of my first son, and oh how things have changed! I’ve discovered a profound love for photography as it has given me the avenue to preserve these fleeting early years with my sweet little boys, so I never forget the joys and laughter they’ve given us every single day. A day rarely passes without my camera in my hand, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that.

I would love nothing more than to provide you with a beautiful photograph that captures your child exactly as she is, pure and simple. I try and photograph children in their own element, full of joy and life, so that you can forever remember the essence of their childhood. In doing so I may even act like a child myself! I’ve been seen with stuffed animals on my head, climbing trees, taking pictures of slugs, and singing the theme song to Thomas the Tank Engine and the Wonder Pets. If you are looking for a style that is posed, formal, and stationary, then I am probably not the photographer for you.
